List any professional or personal accomplishments we can celebrate with you.

I was the co-founder of FSU’S Children’s Literature Centre. I maintained a 20-year partnership with Mary Immaculate College in Limerick Ireland and FSU. I hosted the CLC Super Sleuth Podcast. I am a member of Frostburg’s Lamppost and Tree Lighting Committee, a lifetime member and Chaplin of Frostburg Elks 470, and a trustee for the Allegany County Library System. 

What do you do for fun or keeps you busy in retirement?

I stay busy at FSU’s Children’s Literature Centre. I am active in community groups and with the Library Board. I also enjoy daily reading and solving cryptograms.

Do you stay connected to other retirees or current faculty/staff?

Yes. I am blessed to count many of my closest friends to be FSU retirees and present members of the FSU faculty and staff.

What was your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?

The students, staff and faculty

What advice would you give to current students?

Take advantage of every opportunity the University offers by joining clubs and organizations that focus on helping others and provide personal enrichment.
