How long did you work at FSU?
Kevin, 40 years
Eva, 35 years
What 3 words can you use to describe FSU?
Welcoming, diverse and unique in a way that describes our beautiful campus
List any professional or personal accomplishments we can celebrate with you.
Our three children received their degrees from FSU and were able to find good jobs close to home.
What was your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?
Our favorite was, of course, the people and friendships we made along the way. The tuition remission FSU offers to employees and their families was pretty significant for us too.
What advice would you give to current students?
Enjoy the college years! Work hard, make friends and create memories. These are the years that can change your life forever.
What do you do for fun or keeps you busy in retirement?
We travel, camp, spend our winters in Florida, but most of all enjoy spending time with our nine grandchildren! We enjoy the retiree’s breakfast when we can. As the saying goes, I don’t know how we found time to work!
Do you stay connected to other retirees or current faculty/staff?
We’ve built lifelong relationships with many of our FSU friends who are retired and those who are still working. We meet for many lunch dates and talk often. FSU has been very rewarding for our family!
