A small campus
What was your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?
My career at FSU in the Department of Geography started working on third floor in Dunkle Hall. Working alongside Mr. William Nizinski was an honor. We were a team along with Dr. Cotton, Dr. Riley, Dr. Small, Dr.Caupp, Dr. Duckson, Dr. Precht, Dr. Kessler along with other faculty throughout my time in the department. We were relocated to Gunter Hall in 2002.
What advice would you give to current students?
Learn time management skills - attend classes every day, plan out a study schedule, meet with advisor(s), learn resources in your department of study and on campus such as the tutoring center, student services, and financial aid. Get involved in social activities and meet other students.
What do you do for fun or keeps you busy in retirement?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, riding my Harley, exercising and gardening.
Do you stay connected to other retirees or current faculty/staff?
