FSU, All USM Schools, to Require Vaccinations in Fall
Apr 23, 2021 8:50 AM
The Chancellor of the University System of Maryland, after consultation with the university presidents and other system leaders, has announced that students, faculty and staff on our campuses will need to be vaccinated for this fall semester. Read the complete message from Chancellor Perman.
Frostburg State University will require all eligible students, faculty and staff on campus for the Fall 2021 term to provide proof of being fully vaccinated, with approved exemptions. Much has to be done to help make this work here at FSU, but it is the right thing to do to help us get back fully to the environment we want. This is a strong step toward ensuring the health and safety of our entire campus and our community moving forward.
The FSU administration and I are committed to working collaboratively with the governance and labor-bargaining units to implement this process. I anticipate there will be more details and information provided in the coming weeks.
If you have received a vaccination, be sure to enter your information at FSU COVID-19 check-in portal. Look for "My Vaccinations" in the menu at the top right. You can enter first-dose, second-dose and single-dose information.
Visit FSU's vaccination webpage for information about available vaccination opportunities.
