Spring 2021

Frostburg State University opened its spring semester on Monday, Jan. 25, similar to the fall 2020 term. Classes are presented on campus in a blended (mix of online/in-person) format, designed to limit the time and density in classrooms. As the semester progresses, the COVID steering committee will continue its constant monitoring of COVID indicators and the additional planned testing events to guide our actions and the university’s status.

Latest Updates from the University

However, if conditions change, decisions may be adjusted based on health guidelines and the science as we continue to emerge from this pandemic.

May 5: Weekly Update
Continue making smart, healthy decisions. Abide by our social compact, follow health guidelines, and use the Check-in Portal daily until you leave campus. Remain vigilant during these final days as the virus is still in our community.
