Students — and anyone — should consider location when signing up for appointments for two-dose vaccines. Many locations are currently offering doses three to four weeks apart at the same location.
The Allegany County Health Department provided initial vaccination appointments in March based on the state guidelines that include phase 1B, which covers higher education employees, including student employees. As they and the state expand offerings, watch for emails from COVIDtesting for more information.
IMPORTANT: If you receive a vaccine, please be sure to enter that information at the FSU COVID Check-In Portal. Look for "My Vaccinations" in the menu at the top right. You can enter first- and second-dose and single-dose information.

NOTE: If you received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and have any concerns, please review the full statement from the CDC or reach out to the Brady Health Center or your health care provider.
From the CDC: Right now, these adverse events appear to be extremely rare. COVID-19 vaccine safety is a top priority for the federal government, and we take all reports of health problems following COVID-19 vaccination very seriously. People who have received the J&J vaccine who develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination should contact their health care provider. Report adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
