Don is an addictions counselor and certified prevention professional with extensive experience working with chemically dependent populations, eating disorders, geriatrics, dual diagnosis, and veterans. He teaches IDIS and Therapeutic Recreation courses, volunteers as a varsity baseball coach, and serves as a motivational speaker and BURG advisor.

Melinda graduated from Frostburg State University in 2009 where she was actively involved in the BURG Peer Education Network, serving as Mentor, Historian, Vice President, and President. She has served as the Frostburg Community Coalition Coordinator since 2024.
