United States Holocaust Museum Trip

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion took 40 students and some faculty and staff to the United States Holocaust Museum to increase their awareness of this life-altering historical event. The participants left with heavy hearts but also a more profound understanding of the Holocaust.

The display shows the labels marked on the Jewish people who were in the internment camps as they were separated not only by their identity as being Jewish but also as being homosexual, an emigrant, a career criminal, a Jehovah’s Witness, even as being anti-social.
