Scholarship Information

The Emerging Media program has two scholarships available specifically for students studying emerging media.  For more information about applying for this scholarship, please contact the department by phone at 301-687-3049.

• Emerging Media Scholarship

  Deadline: March 1^st
  Criteria: The recipient must be a full‐time declared emerging media major who has completed MCOM 105 plus 9 additional hours in the major. A cumulative FSU grade point average of 3.0 is required with a 3.25 required in emerging media courses. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need.
• Marjorie C. Phipps Emerging Media Scholarship

  Deadline: March 1^st
  Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled full‐time or part‐time in FSU's Department of Communication with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Demonstrated financial need is required.
• Garcia Scholarship- available to all FSU students
