Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternities and sororities have been an integral part of campus life at Frostburg State University since 1931, with the establishment of Iota Alpha Sigma. Today, as in 1931, the fraternal system is dedicated to the personal growth and development of students through programs and services that promote the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and service. Personal relationships, the opportunity to provide service to the community, leadership development workshops & retreats, involvement in campus life, and planned social activities are all important aspects of Fraternity and Sorority Life. The combination of these activities assists in the development of holistic, educated citizens, and responsible community members.
