Payment Options
You can pay tuition and fees in different ways:
Accepted in-person payments: Cash, personal checks, certified checks, money orders, and traveler’s checks.
Credit cards: Pay online with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express (extra fee applies).
International students cannot use payment plans. Your account must be paid in full before the semester begins.
Flywire Payment Option (International Students Only)
Frostburg State University works with Flywire to make international payments easy and safe. You can pay in your own currency, often with better exchange rates than banks. Flywire also gives you a student dashboard to track your payment and get email confirmation once it arrives.
How Flywire Works
Step 1: Select your country and the amount you need to pay in US dollars.
Step 2: Flywire will show you the amount in your home currency (with lower rates than most banks).
Step 3: Go to your bank (online, in person, or by phone) to send money to Flywire.
Step 4: Flywire changes it into US dollars and sends it directly to Frostburg State University.
Step 5: You can track your payment online, and you’ll get an email confirmation when the money arrives.
