Young Alumni Achievement Award

We proudly invite you to nominate outstanding alumni for the distinguished Young Alumni Achievement Award. This honor is reserved for individuals under the age of 40 who have graduated from Frostburg State University and demonstrated remarkable accomplishments in their professional careers, community service, leadership, and beyond. These emerging leaders embody the spirit of FSU by leveraging their education and experiences to positively impact their fields and inspire others.

About the Award

The Young Alumni Achievement Award celebrates the next generation of leaders who exemplify excellence and service. Recipients may come from diverse backgrounds—ranging from business and research to artistic, educational, and philanthropic endeavors. What unites them is a commitment to making a difference, using the knowledge, skills, and values gained at FSU as a foundation for their contributions.

Nomination Criteria

Eligibility: Recipient must be an FSU graduate and under 40 years of age at the time the award is presented.
Impact: Must have demonstrated notable influence in business, research, artistic achievements, leadership, community involvement, education, and/or philanthropy.
Character: Recipients should reflect the values of FSU through integrity, leadership, and service to others.

Recognition

Award recipients will be honored at the Annual Awards Banquet held each April. This special celebration brings together alumni, faculty, students, and community members to recognize the exceptional achievements of those who continue to carry FSU’s legacy forward. Beyond the recognition, honorees serve as role models for current students and fellow alumni.

Nomination Process

Nominating a deserving individual is simple and straightforward. Please complete this short online nomination form. Once a nomination is submitted, the FSU Alumni team will contact the nominee directly to gather supporting materials and additional details to aid the selection committee in evaluating candidates fairly and thoroughly.

The committee carefully reviews each application to ensure recipients truly represent the best of our young alumni community. Your nomination helps bring well-deserved recognition to graduates who continue to make an extraordinary impact.
