STEM Programs
Engaging Academic Programs
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers twenty engaging STEM undergraduate majors through six departments featuring small class sizes, personal attention from dedicated and highly qualified faculty, and hands-on experiential learning in every class. FSU students in STEM majors often complete internships or independent research projects using state-of-the-art equipment, giving them a competitive edge when applying for graduate schools and employment. Many of these programs are interdisciplinary, feature the option for further specialization, or include options for students interested in becoming high school teachers. Additionally, there are many minors which STEM students can choose from. The STEM departments also offer four graduate programs and participate in the health professions preparatory programs.
