Fulbright U.S. Student Program
Do your plans for graduate study have a global focus? Would you like to be an English teaching assistant in one of 79 countries?
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individual study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant positions. The program operates in more than 140 countries worldwide and awards grants to students in a range of disciplines, including the humanities, social sciences, STEM fields, and creative and performing arts.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction in the classroom, field, home, and public life, providing the grantee the opportunity to develop an understanding and appreciation for the culture and daily life of another society.

Study/Research Awards
The Fulbright Study/Research Award is the traditional award opportunity where a candidate designs a proposal for a specific country. Read the Country Summaries for more information.
English Teaching Assistant Awards
The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant programs place grantees in schools overseas to supplement local English language instruction and to provide a native speaker presence in the classrooms. View the countries offering English Teaching Assistant Awards here.
