Certificate Applicants
Thank you for your interest in Frostburg State University’s Working Professional Certificates. You will be able to choose which of the following certificates you wish to apply for on your application form:
- Certificate in Manufacturing Leadership (12 - 18 credits)
- Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership (12-15 credits)
- Certificate in Retail Management (12 credits)
- Certificate in Small Business Management (12-15 credits)
How to Apply
Complete an admission application and submit your application fee
You can apply online or download and print a paper copy of the application.
Check the "special" box under Classification for Intended Major, choose 'Non-degree'.
You can pay your one-time $45 application fee after completing the online application, by credit card, through electronic funds transfer online or with a check or money order (make payable to Frostburg State University). Do not send cash.
If you pay with a check or money order, please include an Application Fee Transmittal Form. The form can be found in the paper application and at the end of the online application.
Send your most recent official academic transcript
Request an official transcript from the academic institution you attended most recently, whether a high school or college, to be sent to FSU’s Admissions Office.
Send your job description(s), work experience(s) or resume.
