What is Social Norming?
Social norming is the process by which we norm students to actual college student behavior, as opposed to the stereotyped image.
How do you get the information?
Every two years the ACHA survey is randomly given to students at Frostburg State University. It is taken anonymously and students are encouraged to be honest.
How current is the information displayed?
The ACHA Survey was recently administered Spring 2019 semester.

- 81% of FSU students report always wearing a seatbelt within the last 12 months
- 88% of FSU students report not having used cigarettes within the last 30 days
- 76.9% of FSU students report not having used e-cigarettes within the last 30 days
- 91.3% of FSU students report not having used hookah within the last 30 days
- 91.9% of FSU students report not having used cigars within the last 30 days
- 94.8% of FSU students report not having used smokeless tobacco within the last 30 days
- 27.2% of FSU students report not having used alcohol (beer, wine, liquor) within the last 30 days
- 61.3% of FSU students report not having used marijuana (weed, pot, hashish, hash oil) within the last 30 days
- 97.1% of FSU students report not having used cocaine within the last 30 days
- 98.8% of FSU students report not having used methamphetamines within the last 30 days
- 93.6% of FSU students report not having used other amphetamines within the last 30 days
- 99.4% of FSU students report not having used sedatives within the last 30 days
- 95.9% of FSU students report not having used hallucinogens within the last 30 days
- 98.3% of FSU students report not having used steroids within the last 30 days
- 99.4% of FSU students report not having used opioids within the last 30 days
- 98.8% of FSU students report not having used inhalants within the last 30 days
- 97.7% of FSU students report not having used MDMA within the last 30 days
- 99.4% of FSU students report not having used other club drugs (ketamine, rohypnol, GHB) within the last 30 days
- 95.9% of FSU students report not having used other forms illegal drugs within the last 30 days
