This remote graduate degree program prepares you for a wide range of careers in environmental and sustainability management. The degree program is open to students from any undergraduate major who meet the entry requirements.

- Admission Requirements for the MEM in Sustainability
The admission requirements for the Master of Environmental Management in Sustainability are:
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
- A cross-institutional cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. If your GPA is below a 3.0, you may be eligible for provisional admission based on related research or work experience.
- Official GRE scores are optional and will not be considered as criteria for admissions to the program.
- Completion of the following prerequisite undergraduate coursework (or equivalent) with a grade of C or better:
- Two Introductory Natural Science Courses at the 100- or 200-level (or equivalent) with lab.
- Two Advanced Science Courses at the 300- or 400-level (or equivalent) from the broad areas of earth sciences, ecology, energy engineering, environmental science, environmental analysis, sustainability, wildlife and fisheries or others.
- Two Quantitative Courses in calculus, computer programming, statistics, or data analysis
- Two Foundations Courses related to environmental management or sustainability at the 300- or 400-level (or equivalent) drawn from any discipline.
- International students may need to demonstrate English proficiency and have their transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalence.
