Chemistry Department | Brandi is a recent graduate from the Biochemistry Concentration, and is entering a PhD program at WVU. While at FSU, Brandi presented her research at two regional conferences: Allegheny-Erie Society of Toxicology Regional Chapter and the Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting of the ACS. She also attended the national Gamma Sigma Epsilon Honor Society convention.

Physics | Dr. Jason Speights, director of Frostburg State University’s Multimedia Learning Center and Planetarium and assistant professor of physics, has been awarded the Regents’ Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring, the highest honor that the University of Maryland Board of Regents bestows to recognize exemplary faculty achievement. He was honored at the April 20, 2018 meeting of the board.
