Dance Company Auditions
Auditions:
- Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The FSU Dance Company is an exciting and active ensemble focused on contemporary dance styles and genres. Participation in Dance Company takes the form of a disciplined and challenging course (3 credits) with emphasis on performance technique and choreography. The company performs classic and original works in department dance concerts which often include guest performers, choreographers and instructors.
The FSU Dance Company provides opportunities for students interested in pursuing dance beyond the courses required to complete the minor. Dance Company credit is repeatable; and, as their experience increases, students begin to focus heavily on choreography and advanced performance technique.
The Dance Company has required auditions. Dates will be posted above on this page when they become available.
Audition Regulations
All dancers should be in proper dance attire, no baggy clothing. Auditions will be done primarily in bare feet but please bring any dance shoes you have.
