CLC Book Award Celebration 2025

Our 13th Annual CLC Book Award Celebration will be held on Friday, October 3rd at Hotel Gunter in Frostburg!  

Since the book has been chosen for our award, "I Know How to Draw an Owl" has amassed over 7 awards/nominations! 8 including our CLC Book Award!

Here are the awards:

-2025 Cooperative Children's Book Center, University of Wisconsin, Madison Charlotte Zolotow Award for outstanding writing in a picture book!

-Boston Globe-Horn Book Award for best picture book 2025!

-2025 Bank Street School of Education Best Picture Books of the Year (Contemporary Issues)!

-A Junior Library Guild Gold Star Selection 2025!
