Share-a-Book Invitation

Would you like to be a part of our new “Share-a-Book” project?

As a participant in this project, we are asking that you share a Festival book with your friends, students, family, church, book club, readers of all ages, etc., then pass it on to another who will read and share it, and continue to pass it along again and again, until the deadline date, upon which the book is to be returned to the original owner/ambassador.

Each participant will be given a choice of one book that is written and/or illustrated by one of the featured speakers at the 2026 Spring Festival of Children’s Literature.

The Share-a-Book bag will include the chosen book, and a number of bookmarks advertising the Spring Festival of Children’s Literature. Each sharer is encouraged to insert one bookmark in the shared book, when passing it to the next person.

Each book will have a “book sleeve” that will include the following:

a. Original recipient/ambassador name and email address.

b. Blank lined spaces for the names & email addresses of the subsequent persons that share this book (which will be added to our CLC email list, but not shared publicly).

c. Last person on the list will return the book to the ambassador listed at the top of the book sleeve by April 1.

Share-a-Book Ambassadors are encouraged to bring their shared book to the Festival to be autographed.

All Share-a-Book participants are encouraged to attend the Festival, and will be eligible to win a gift certificate to Main Street Books in Frostburg.
