University Withdrawal and Leave of Absence
Academic Regulations in the Undergraduate University Catalog
You have two options when leaving the University:
University Withdrawal
- if you withdraw prior to the end of the drop/add period you will be dropped from your courses
- if you withdraw after the end of the drop/add period and before the end of 60% of classes (for example, before the first eight weeks of a Semester), you will receive a W in each class
- if you withdraw after the 60% of classes (for example, after the first eight weeks of a Semester), you will receive a WF or a W, depending on the circumstances surrounding your withdraw. A W or a WF will not be considered after the last day of classes.
If you withdraw during a Semester, please note that there may be financial implications.
