Scholarships
A college education is a big investment. Scholarships are an excellent way to make your college experience more affordable. And unlike other forms of financial aid, scholarships never need to be paid back.
Academic Scholarships
Together, we can inspire, create, lead and transform the future. Frostburg State University offers incoming first year and transfer students a range of academic scholarships to help support your educational journey. Also referred to as merit scholarships, these renewable awards help offset the cost of tuition, putting a high-quality Frostburg State education within reach.
Eligibility
Newly admitted first-time students and transfer students
How to Apply
No extra application required.
You are automatically considered for an academic scholarship based on eligibility criteria and information provided in your application for admission; first-time students with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and transfer students with a total college cumulative GPA 2.8 or higher will initially be considered. Additionally, the Admissions office will review your full academic portfolio to determine a merit scholarship offer.
