Volunteering for the Cultural Events Series at Frostburg State University

Karen Reidler Volunteers

The Cultural Events Series hosts thousands of patrons every year. We would love to have you on board as a part of our team!

YOUR MISSION – YOU REPRESENT US

We consider our ushers to be part of our public relations team. It is the smiling faces of our volunteers that greet our patrons at each performance. We work hard to take care of our volunteers by keeping them well-informed and well-trained. In exchange, we ask that our volunteers give their very best to CES and our patrons.

THE PERKS

  • Be an integral part of some of the most extraordinary performances in the tri-state area.
  • Meet other people in our community who also love and support the arts.
  • See performances when working a shift.

Training sessions for new volunteers are typically held in August. Contact Joel Hoover at 301-687-3044 or jehoover@frostburg.edu for more information or complete the CES volunteer application to get started now.

Share this experience with many others who have an abiding devotion to theatre, the arts and the community. Ushering gets you inside the world of professional performing arts. See how things work and meet the people who make it happen.
