Housing Application Conduct Clearance
Among its responsibilities, the Residence Life Office reviews housing applicants that have a criminal or disciplinary history.
Applicants for campus housing must indicate the following on their application:
- Whether disciplinary action has been taken against them at another institution (college or high school)
- Whether they have been convicted of a criminal act
- Whether they are involved in a criminal legal proceeding
Answering yes to any of these questions will not automatically prohibit a student from living on campus.
It is required that you truthfully and accurately answer the questions on the application you are submitting. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action and/or revocation of your housing contract with our office. Any supporting documents you provide to the office must also be authentic and may be uploaded directly in the form below.
When the applicant answer "yes" to any of those questions, the Housing Application and Housing Application Conduct Clearance Form will be reviewed by the Residence Life Office to determine whether the disciplinary matter would preclude the student from living in campus housing.
To begin a Conduct Clearance, the housing applicant will need to complete this form.
The office will then review the information submitted and respond within 10 business days.
Feel free to contact the Residence Life Office with any questions about this process.
