Housing Selection Dates
Type Dates Information

Full Suites and Quads

Monday at 1PM- Wednesday at 4:30 PM (March 3rd-5th)
  • You may choose your quad in Frederick or Westminster Halls during this time, provided you have enough students in your group to fill the quad. Please be mindful of your selection of double and/or single rooms within the quad. There will be no 5 person all single quads.

Allen Hall Selection

Monday at 1PM- Wednesday at 4:30 PM (March 3rd-5th)
  • Single rooms are available in Allen Hall for Junior and Senior students.

Single Rooms and Full Double Rooms

Thurs-Monday at 8 AM, March 6th -10th
  • You may choose your single room in:
    • Allen, Cumberland, Sowers, Diehl, Simpson, Frederick or Westminster
  • You may choose your double room with your roommate. 
    • Allen Hall: Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students
    • Diehl
    • Sowers
    • Simpson Hall: Female Housing
    • Cumberland Hall: All Single Rooms
    • Frederick: Quad style housing
    • Westminster: Quad style housing

All other returning student spaces

Monday at 9 AM-Thursday at 4:30 PM

March 10th-13th
  • You may choose a space in returning student housing including double rooms without a roommate where a roommate will be assigned to you.

 

Steps for Housing Selection:

 

  1. Fill out your Housing Contract and Application on the Housing Portal, including choosing a meal plan for Fall 2025.
  2. You will be given access to look under the "Room Changes and Housing Selection" tab to access Roommate Selection. Click "Select Roommates", choose "Fall 2025" to search for roommates and request roommates and/or suitemates. Your roommates/suitemates will then confirm your request. After you are matched together, any of you will be able to choose your room/suite for the group.
  3. At the time listed on your housing portal, you can choose your room/suite. Selection times are calculated by credit hours. Students who apply for housing after the selection process starts will receive a later selection time. All students applying for housing by May 1st are guaranteed housing.

 

Please remember, if you will be in your first or second year at Frostburg State University in Fall 2025, the Two-Year Residency Requirement will still apply to you. Students whose exemption to the policy was granted during the 2024-25 academic year, will need to reapply for exemption for the 2025-2026 academic year.
