Honors Student Housing

Tuesday at 9AM-Noon

(March 24)
  • Returning students in the FSU Honors program are able to choose their room in one of the returning student buildings (listed below).
Full Suites and Quads

Tuesday at 1PM - Wednesday at Noon

(March 24-25)
  • You may choose your quad in Westminster Hall during this time, provided you have enough students in your group to fill the quad. Be mindful of your selection of double and/or single rooms within the quad. No 5-person all-single quads.
Single Rooms and Full Double Rooms

Wednesday at 1PM -Thursday at Noon

(March 25 - 26)
  • Choose your single room in: Allen, Cumberland, Sowers, Diehl, Simpson, or Westminster.
  • Choose your double room with your roommate:
    • Allen
    • Diehl
    • Sowers
    • Simpson Hall: Female Housing
    • Cumberland Hall: All Single Rooms
    • Westminster: Quad style housing
  • You MUST have a roommate chosen to choose a double room during this timeslot
All other returning student spaces

Thursday at 1PM - Tuesday at 4:30 PM 

(March 26-31)
  • You may choose a space in returning student housing including double rooms without a roommate where a roommate will be assigned.

Steps for Housing Selection:

  1. Fill out your Housing Contract and Application on the Housing Portal, including choosing a meal plan for Fall 2026.
  2. Utilize the Housing Portal to choose room/suitemates, if desired.
  3. At your assigned selection time (based on credit hours), choose your room/suite. Late applicants will receive later selection times. Housing is guaranteed for applications submitted by May 1st.

Please remember, first- and second-year students in Fall 2026 are still subject to the Two-Year Residency Requirement. Students who received an exemption in 2025-26 must reapply for 2026-27. More info here.
