FSU Marching Bobcats

Be part of the tradition!

This year the Marching Bobcats is taking on a new and exciting structure as a pep band (bleacher band) providing a lively atmosphere at home football games and other FSU athletic events. The band is an important part of the FSU community and plays a vital role for the school spirit of the University. They perform music in several styles, including jazz, pop and mainstream marching band charts.

The Marching Bobcats is open to University students with previous band experience and has vacancies for all wind and brass instruments and percussion, including electric guitar, keyboard, electric bass, and drum set. Please join us!

MARCHING BAND SCHOLARSHIPS

Students in the marching band will be eligible for a $500 scholarship. In order to be considered for the scholarship, students must enroll in the Fall class (MUSC 329), participate in all performances, and earn a grade of A or B in the class. Scholarships will be distributed the following Spring as a part of financial aid.

BAND CAMP

No Band Camp Fall 2026. Marching Band students should plan on checking in to FSU the same day as all other FSU students. - no early arrival or check-in will be provided for band students.
