FSU Marching Bobcats

Be part of the tradition!

During the fall semester the Marching Bobcats perform at home football games and other FSU athletic events. The band is an important part of the FSU community and plays a vital role for the school spirit of the University. They perform music in several styles, including jazz, pop and mainstream marching band charts.

The Marching Bobcats is open to University students with previous band experience and has vacancies for all wind and brass instruments and percussion. Please join us!

MARCHING BAND SCHOLARSHIPS

Students in the marching band will be eligible for a $500 scholarship. In order to be considered for the scholarship, students must enroll in the Fall class (MUSC 329), participate in all performances, and earn a grade of A or B in the class. Scholarships will be distributed the following Spring as a part of financial aid.

BAND CAMP

Move-in for marching band members is Sunday, August 18, 10am-1pm, report to Pullen Hall 104 (Edgewood Commons move-in 1-3pm).
Instrument sign out: Sunday, August 18, 3-5pm in Performing Arts Center (PAC) room 109.
Welcome Meeting and Camp Start up: Sunday, August 18, 5:45pm, Marching Band meet at practice field "D".
