NAfME is the largest national organization for music educators and is dedicated to furthering the education of working professionals and collegiate music education majors. The collegiate chapter of NAfME volunteers time to the music department, hosts guest speakers, and attends state, regional, and national music education conferences. NAfME is open to all music educators.

American Choral Directors' Association (ACDA)

Hendrix choral conductingThe mission of ACDA is to inspire excellence in choral music through education, performance, composition, and advocacy. Visit the national organization's website at acda.org. The Frostburg ACDA Collegiate chapter sponsors department-wide events to support music students and choral singing, as well as professional development opportunities for students and community members.
