STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
First-year students interested in exploring majors in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are welcome to request assignments in the STEM Program. This program aims to foster relationships with peers, mentors, and faculty members in STEM. From these relationships, a community of STEM majors develops. Within the community, STEM residents benefit from study and tutoring sessions, participate in STEM-specific programming, and enjoy proximity to the academic buildings where their science classes are held, including the recently built Compton Science Center. This program is designed specifically for STEM Majors.
